There is no such thing as a perfect first dance song. One of the most important things to remember when choosing your first dance song is to pick something that both of you like. Once you have picked your tune, whether you are a professional dancer or have 2 left feet, practice a couple of moves before you hot the dance floor for the first time. Most of our bands will get you onto the dance floor for about 45 seconds of your dance and then invite all your guests to join you. So you don’t need to worry about the entire tune, unless you have a full routine prepared.

Don’t be afraid to ask your band to play the original as well. If your first dance is special to you and has a particular significance, the original will be hard to beat. This will also allow you to practice before hand.
